Post Graduate Studies.

The workplace as we know is very competitive, so if we have to get a job, we have to had betters skills than everyone. For this reason is necessary to be in a continuous process of learning, that means that we are compulsory  to do a postgraduate study like a Master Degree or a PhD.

In my case, even if i don´t finish my career yet, i´m  thinking about what´s going to happen when i get out the university and what i´m going to do. So if i have to choose something (what probably change with the years) i would like to do is a PhD in Pharmacology because is focus in the things that i like from the career. So is focus in the area that i would like to be more specialize, because had the option to take areas like Clinical Pharmacologist, and subjects like Molecular Pharmacologist and others.

I know, is a big challenge, not just for the time and the difficult of the course, is also too for the money that you have to invest in this type of postgraduate study. But as i said is what i like and this course give you grants and other kind of facilities like a blended system of study and or part time classes, that could let you work besides you study and be with your family, etc.

And obviously if  i become to do it, i will have a lot of rewards in the my professional path, because my skills will be better, and i could be recognize in my workplace.

About get out of the country? I actually prefer to stay here, in Chile, because i thing that our country needs more specialized professional, specially in the health area.

 The people deserves to get a good attention and we need to be recognize as a country that had good quality professionals who does real contributions to the science.

Well after all, if you want to be a scientist, you have to be curious and study a lot to know everyday more.
