My best holiday

When the people talk about their best holidays, used to say places out of our country, but I´m think that our country has incredible places to visit! So for me, my best holiday was here in Chile, in La Serena, like two years ago. 

I went there in Winter for two weeks, as i said, like two years ago. And it was amazing!

 First i did´t have to much faith about this holiday because i don´t like the beach, but when i get there, i discovered that the place is not only the beach is also his people, his food, his attractions and his neighbor town like the big and beautiful valley, called Valle del Elqui where companies produced Pisco!

La Serena has an airport called Aeropuerto La Florida, and is located in the outskirts of the city. From there you can get a cab and go to the center of the city (like as i did) and in the center your going to find a lot attractions like the Archaeological Museum of  La Serena or a famous gallery called  La Recova, where you can eat some typical food or buy a handicraft as a souvenir.

But if you go to La Serena you must visit the neighbor towns! I went to Valle de Elqui where i visited a little company that produce Pisco. They showed me the machines and the vine plantation, it was an incredible experience! This town produce too a delicious fruit, the papaya and i visited  a couple who lives, picking and selling papayas to the tourist or to their friends.

 Other unmissable place is the main city of the region, Coquimbo. Coquimbo is one of the main ports of Chile, so you can imagine all things you can buy. Clothes, food, electronics, handicrafts, everything! And especially the food is amazing, the town is specialist in seafood and is so fresh and delicious!. This city has another places to visit associated with the religion. For one part is the Mosque that is a wonderful and peaceful place to visit, and for other part is the Cruz del Tercer Milenio that is more related of the most popular religion in Chile and is more associated with the national culture. But both places are wonderful for a good reflection and for visit in holidays.

So for me in Chile you can have an unforgettable holidays and places like La Serena and all the Forth Region prove that.

I will never forget this travel and i kept in my mind all the places that i visited, the food that i ate and the people who talked to me and guide me in my visit.
